A hydraulic pump is one component. A hydraulic power unit (HPU) is a complete assembly that includes the pump, an electric or gas motor, a reservoir, filtration, valves, and controls — everything needed to power a hydraulic system out of a single skid.
Can Dewald build a custom hydraulic power unit?
Yes. We spec and build custom HPUs for OEMs and service shops every week. Tell us your required flow, pressure, horsepower, voltage, reservoir size, and control scheme, and our engineers will quote a package. Most standard custom builds ship in 3–6 weeks.
Does Dewald repair hydraulic pumps?
We don’t do in-house pump rebuilds, but we manage repair routing through our manufacturer network and can get you a replacement pump from stock to minimize downtime.
