Hydraulic & Pneumatic Valves & Controls
Every fluid power system needs the right valves to direct, throttle, or stop flow — and getting valve selection right is the difference between a system that works and one that won’t. Dewald stocks hydraulic and pneumatic directional valves, solenoid-operated valves, flow controls, check valves, pressure reducers, and mobile valves from Yuken, Walvoil, and a full roster of additional manufacturers. Our inside sales team knows the difference between a D03 and a D05 valve, can spec the right coil voltage, and will match flow and pressure ratings to your system. Tell us what the valve needs to do and we’ll tell you which one to use.
A directional control valve routes fluid (hydraulic or pneumatic) to control the direction, speed, and sequence of a cylinder or motor. Valves are the “traffic lights” of a fluid power circuit — they decide where the fluid goes and when. Selecting the right valve means matching size (flow capacity), voltage (for solenoid-operated valves), and function to the circuit.

FAQs
What's the difference between D03, D05, D07, and D08 hydraulic valves?
Those are industry-standard mounting patterns defined by flow capacity. D03 is smallest (roughly 5 GPM), D05 handles about 15 GPM, D07 handles about 30 GPM, and D08 handles the largest flows (60 GPM+). Choose based on your circuit’s required flow rate.
Does Dewald sell replacement solenoid coils for valves?
Yes. Tell us the valve brand, model, and required voltage (12V DC, 24V DC, 120V AC, 240V AC, etc.) and we’ll source the right replacement coil.
Can Dewald build a custom hydraulic valve manifold?
Yes. Custom manifold blocks are one of our specialties. Send us the circuit schematic and we’ll engineer and source the manifold assembly.
What hydraulic valve brand does Dewald carry?
Yuken and Walvoil are our primary lines. We source additional brands as needed.
Service Area
Dewald serves customers across Northern Indiana (South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Goshen, Warsaw, Fort Wayne, Plymouth), down to Indianapolis, and into Southwest Michigan (Niles, Benton Harbor, St. Joseph). Our Mishawaka counter is open to anyone driving up, and we ship nationwide daily.
